WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY TV) –The Museum of Coastal Carolina Ingram Planetarium has events coming up that are good for the entire family.
Katherine Hunt is the Ingram Planetarium manager that is located in Sunset Beach at 7625 High Market Street.
They currently have a free event called Science at Sunset where they do experiments, such as creating dye, using dry ice which allows kids and adults to get involved in hands-on science experiments. The event takes place the second Saturday of every month. And the Budding Scientist is on Thursday’s at the museum at 11:00 a.m.
They also have Frankenstein 200 coming up on October 26th. It’s set up to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Frankenstein and go into some scientific ethics. Tickets for this event are $9.50 for adults, $8.50 for seniors, $7.50 for children and kids two and under are free.
